For 2027, Aotea Māori Netball is committed to being better than before.

That doesn't mean forgetting where we've come from. It means learning from our experiences, strengthening what we already do well and being prepared to improve the things we can do better.

We've taken time to think carefully about the representative experience we want to provide for our players, whānau and volunteers.

We want our players to develop, perform, belong and thrive. We want them to leave our campaign as better netballers, stronger teammates and confident young people who are proud of what it means to represent Aotea.

And we know that experience doesn't happen without good people around them.

That's why we've developed clear Position Descriptions for our Co-Coaches, Team Managers and Selectors.

They're thorough for a reason.

We want our volunteers to understand what they're stepping into, what Aotea expects of them — and what they can expect from us.

But please don't read a Position Description and think:

“I'm not experienced enough for that.”

You might already have more of what we're looking for than you realise.
